i don't think they do. in fact, i think
they sweat their asses off and then go backstage
and get 'dried' off...

it doesn't seem to make sense why they'd
wear deodorant... well i mean, it makes
sense why they would... but considering
most of them are wearing one-of-a-kind
or highly couture articles, i dunno why
anyone would risk having it stained or
ruined by deodorant.


and since we are on the bizarre topic...
do you think they wear perfume?

I think all the makeup they air brush on their faces...and all the crap in their hair is fragrance enough for a convention of AVon ladies.

And I too, say no to DeO...... an item that would retail for thousands of dollars wwouldn't have icky white crap in the armpits...

unlike the countless items i buy at the gap..only to bring home and find foundation all over the neckline.....

I could be wrong..but i think i read somewhere that the clothing used isnt exactly finished as in ready to be sold (in some cases)..and the already worn in the show clothing is usually not sold..so maybe they do wear some type of stink free stuff...i dunno..but i do know this..i wouldnt want to pay that much money for clothes someone else has already worn..and when you've got the kinda money the people who buy these clothes do..i reckon they wouldnt either..must be some kinda deal worked out or something..interesting if you think about it.. i believe in most cases the models keep that which they wear.. its part of the deal.. rarely is anything "one of a kind" they may have only made one of it for now.. but if its popular in concept it will be made in volume... make up models get the same kind of perks.. they model some cosmetics and they get to keep a batch of it.. i would assume it works that way for underwear models.. at least i hope so... yeah... i agree with ya, blazey, in that the
clothing is more in a state of 'prepared' and
not necessarily 'ready'... the clothing they
wear down the runway is pinned and tucked and
all sorts of heavy tailoring that no person
could wear it just off the stage.

but i can also see how the room is kept rather
cold, like trampis said... that would make
sense... but i still think that backstage there
is a lot of heat with all the bodies and activity,
that surely someone sweats...

i just wonder how they do it....
